COMMUNITY INITIATIVES
- This year, the PVBA will engage in many projects that not only promote your business, but build community spirit, and foster partnerships with regional organizations. One of these projects is the PV Map project. PUTNAM VALLEY MAP - A large format map displaying all the Putnam Valley Streets using the latest GIS map from Putnam County. There will be 10,000 copies of the map available free of charge to the community in the Fall of 2006. PVBA member businesses are invited to advertise on the borders of the map. Contact us at info@pvba.org. MEETINGS - Our monthly meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 PM and are held at the Putnam Valley High School (in the library) located at 146 Peekskill Hollow Road. These meetings are aired on Channel 20. They are a great opportunity to meet, greet, and share business cards with fellow members. We usually have a guest speaker presenting information on business resources, services and development in our area. |
